The Lutterworth Press is one of the longest-standing independent publishing houses in Britain. They have been trading since the late eighteenth century and have built up a global reputation for publishing high quality books written by distinctive authors. TLP is particularly known for its beautifully illustrated books on church architecture and regional landmarks.
Originally founded as the Religious Tract Society, The Lutterworth Press first specialised in the areas of religion and children’s literature, producing such perennial favourites as The Boy’s Own Paper and the Girl’s Own Paper. Having become industry leaders in these areas, they began to add educational and adult non-fiction to their expanding repertoire. Since its inception, The Lutterworth Press has aimed for the highest quality in writing and production.
